Wow....I love the idea of using technology to immerse students in as-they-happen events. Twitter is a good example of an app that-- when used for relevant updates (as in NOT to tell the world what you are buying at the mall)-- can have tremendous classroom potential. BTW, I don't think these eaglets are "being born." They are HATCHING! Kind of a difference....mammals give birth, but anything that comes out of an egg hatches.
